Music for the Mood..

There are 3 songs mumbling from my lips lately..
and they are..

1. Decode - Paramore

Like who wouldn't? It's paramore, and it's for Twilight. I like the lyrics.. though when i sing it,instead of being about edward, it's more about this person that keeps 'clouding out my mind' every single day..

2. Over the Rainbow - I don't have an idea whoever sang this at first. . Almost everyone recognizes this song.. all i know is that it came from the Wizard of Oz movie..

After watching the movie Australia a few weeks ago (cast: Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman), it seems that i cant stop singing that song.. then i realized it's actually a wonderful song, no wonder it's suitable for all ages.. (?)

Last, it would be

3. Put Your Recor
ds On- Corinne Bailey Rae

This song always kinda like to straighten up my mood. Corinne's voice always soothens anyone who listens to her singing, and i love her accent! This Corinne song is about keep on doing what you want, and don't fuss about whatever others think about you. Actually i'm a person that literally never wants to be disliked by other people (like who would ever want to?). Because of that, i seem to be keeping myself understanding what others want for me to be, and always afraid to do mistakes.. and that's a bit frustrating..

I realize what i do these days are only 'trying' instead of 'doing'.. and i discover that 'doing' things are actually much easier than 'trying' things.. Because when you 'do', you know what you want.

And there's something else, don't always worry about stuff.. I've read this book The Secret and  it tells us that the more you think about something to happen, it's gonna happen.. because there's somekind of energy, people say it's 'the power of Mind', that will pull those images inside the mind into reality.. So, instead of thinking about the bad stuff.. it's better to be optimistic and keep thinking about all the dreams and the all good stuff ;D

and here are the lyrics:

Decode
How can I decide what's right
When you're clouding up my mind?
I can't win your losing fight
All the time.

Not gonna ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride.
No, not this time.
Not this time.

How did we get here?
When I used to know you so well.
But how did we get here?
Well, I think I know.

The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue.
Just boiling in my blood.
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are,
If you're a man at all.
Well, I will figure this one out
On my own.
(I'm screaming, "I love you so.")
On my own.
(My thoughts you can't decode)

How did we get here?
When I used to know you so well, yeah.
But how did we get here?
Well, I think I know.

There is something I see in you.
It might kill me.
I want it to be true.

Over The Rainbow
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

Put Your Records On
Three little birds, sat on my window.
And they told me I don't need to worry.
Summer came like cinnamon
So sweet,
Little girls double-dutch on the concrete.

Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same
Oh, don't you hesitate.

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song
You go ahead, let your hair down
Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,
Just go ahead, let your hair down.

You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow.

Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely,
Sipping tea in the bar by the roadside,
(just relax, just relax)
Don't you let those other boys fool you,
Got to love that afro hair do.

Maybe sometimes, we feel afraid, but it's alright
The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change.
Don't you think it's strange?

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song
You go ahead, let your hair down
Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,
Just go ahead, let your hair down.

You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow.

Just more than I could take, pity for pity's sake
Some nights kept me awake, I thought that I was stronger
When you gonna realize, that you don't even have to try any longer?
Do what you want to.

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song
You go ahead, let your hair down
Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,
Just go ahead, let your hair down.

..Oh, you're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow..
